This golden oldie is in the small town of Metcalf near Thomasville , GA. It was painted from a photo taken several years ago and I'm happy to report that it has been reborn as an upscale gunsmith's shop. The little brick building was originally a bank, which serves it's new purpose beautifully. As you enter, the arched windows flood light on the white marble floor. Beyond the service counter is the workshop and the old walk-in vault with it's gilt letters and decorations. It it a real asset to the community and worth a side trip to visit.
